Silence is silver, speech is gold! - Update on the chat feature

The chat feature has been very popular for quite some time now. Activate chat for challenges and groups to motivate, support and celebrate each other.

We appreciate the community's feedback and have listened to you carefully. That's why we introduced several changes and innovations since the chat feature was first released.

A picture often says more than a thousand words. Users that use Goalify with a coach can easily share files and images in chats. All you need to do is open the conversation and tap the "square" icon in the bottom right corner, and you can share pictures and files.

A picture is not enough, and you want to express your mood with a moving, fun GIF? You can do that now too. Just tap on GIPHY in the chat and get funky.

But wait, there is more. Want to respond to someone's achievement message without cluttering the chat? No problem - now you can reply to chat messages with reactions. Tap and hold the message, and you'll see your favorite emoticons to respond to the message.

Push notifications for chat messages help you stay up to date. With several chats or very communicative groups, however, messages can quickly "disappear." You can now decide for each conversation individually whether it only shows the number of unread messages in the chat overview or if you also want to receive push notifications about new messages. To do this, open the chat and tap on the smartphone icon at the bottom left, where you can easily set up your notifications and change them anytime.
