Stay focused with our smart reminders

At Goalify we strive to provide a better product with every release. Whether we get to fix some bugs or release a new feature. The most exciting updates for us are those that include improvements based on user feedback.

With the release of Goalify 3.3.0, we are super excited to provide an update with a major improvement: reminders. Since the initial launch of Goalify, we have provided the user with the ability to set reminders based on his/her preferences for a specific goal. While reminders worked for many of our users, we knew that options were limited and that we needed to rework our approach.

After doing our homework and collecting feedback from our awesome community, we went back to the drawing board and started working on a new approach:

Hello reminders 2.0.

You can now easily create recurring reminders that remind you:

  • daily at a specific time of the day
  • daily, on every hour between 9 and 5 (or any other two times)
  • remind you Monday mornings
  • on the 15th of every month
  • on the last day of every month

Reminders are now central to the Goalify mobile app, with their own dashboard, accessible through the main menu. This will give you a much faster overview of the reminders you have currently set while providing you the option to turn a reminder on or off quickly.

When you add a new reminder, you can now set

  • a name
  • a text to be shown with each notification
  • a list of times the reminder should be triggered and at what repeating frequency (daily, certain days of the week or month)
  • a link to a goal for more options.

Sounds like a lot of options and possibly complicated? You are right about the options, but we managed to keep everything super easy to use. We even made a quick video tutorial, so you are up to date with the excellent features in no time!

We are really excited about this update and hope so are you. As always, please get in touch if you have any questions or feedback.
